Dahlia Triptych - Gum Bichromate prints

I've been working on a few new Gum Bichromate prints. Below is a Dahlia that my wife brought in from the garden and put into a milk bottle on the kitchen table. I thought it looked great so couldn't resit photographing it and making this Gum Print from it. The images below are made up of the gum print in it's three basic stages of development. 1st piece made with the Cyan negative, the 2nd piece is made with the cyan and yellow negatives and the 3rd and final image is made up of all three CMY negatives and 3 watercolour pigments.

Snowdonia - Barmouth

We had a lovely time walking in Snowdonia last week. Our first stop was at a lovely and friendly B&B called The Slate Shed at Graig Wen, where we stayed for a couple of nights. I decided to go for a wander around the grounds for a nosey before settling in for the night, I ended up walking down through the campsite, down onto a walkway that runs along the side of the Barmouth estuary (we're talking only a ten minute walk).  I setup my tripod and watched the beautiful light and views constantly changing in front of my eyes. I managed to capture these lovely views across the estuary.

In The Mist

This is an ongoing project and a section on my website, I love when I wake up in the morning and there's a mist, I can't stop myself - I need to pick up my camera and head to the nearest forest.

Here are some photographs from my last trek into the woods on a misty morning.
